Tour Itinerary
Our first stop takes us to San Bartolome, where you'll witness the skilled artistry of handmade guitar making at a local workshop. Then we continue to Chordeleg, immersing ourselves in the world of silversmiths and jewelry shops, observing the creation of intricate filigree designs in silver and gold. Take time to explore the local crafts and watch artisans weaving 'Panama' hats and toquilla straw items.
Afterward, the Gualaceo village awaits with its vibrant market, showcasing vivid colors and captivating traditional clothing. Sample delicious, freshly picked local fruits and savor the flavorful roasted pig (If you desire), a regional specialty. Our last stop will be a local family's Ikat workshop to witness the traditional weaving of shawls and ponchos on antique looms, using natural plant dyes.
