We begin with a scenic 45-minute drive to the Toreadora Refuge, where we embark on a 1.5 to 2-hour hike through the unique grasslands of the Paramo and the San Luis forest. This forest, home to the world's highest-growing Polylepis trees, resembles a scene from "The Lord of the Rings." The hike is customizable to suit everyone's needs.
As we hike, you'll be captivated by stunning views of the Andes range and its crystal-clear lakes. You'll also encounter the park's incredible flora, including unique plant and flower species.
