You have various options to kickstart your day, from serene canoe paddling through winding creeks to exhilarating motorized canoe rides along the Napo River. A visit to the Providencia Community in Yasuni National Park offers a fascinating glimpse into their jungle lifestyle, complete with traditional cooking demonstrations and the chance to witness the mesmerizing parrot clay lick phenomenon.

Afternoon activities commence between 3:00 and 4:30 p.m., often extending well into the evening as the jungle comes alive with the sounds of nocturnal creatures. Weather permitting, witness hundreds of colorful parrots gather to eat clay, neutralizing acids from their fruit diet—a vibrant spectacle of sounds and colors.
